Welcome! We are Guy and Aubrey, and we are excited to be running for the Township Committee in Long Hill. With a deep passion for our community and a commitment to positive change, we are dedicated to making Long Hill an even better place to live for everyone.

Guy Piserchia

A Little About Me:

  • 30+ year resident of Long Hill

  • Happily married with 2 lovely kids

  • Financial Markets Professional with 30+ years of experience

  • Current Long Hill Mayor

  • Active community volunteer in multiple local and state government roles and boards including: NJ League of Municipalities Executive Board, Morris County League of Municipalities, NJ Conference of Mayors Legislative Committees amongst several others

  • Seton Hall University BA History, MBA Finance  

My Accomplishments and Goals:

  • Enhancing local services and infrastructure

  • Achieved zero municipal debt and held municipal increases to 1.6%, below state mandated 2%

  • Orchestrated turf field with lights at no cost to tax payers

  • Established regular Town Committee collaboration with DPW and the county for funding road maintenance schedule. 

  • In past 2 years the town has purchased nearly $3 million in emergency vehicles. 

  • Master Plan was completed ensuring we get to determine what our town looks like in the future

  • Sewer sale to facilitate revitalization of rundown properties 

  • Worked closely with COAH/Fair Share to ensure some control over number, density, height

  • Promoting sustainable growth and development

Why I’m Running:

  • I care deeply for our town and community and have more work to do to make Long Hill an even better place to live

  • I am thrilled and honored that Aubrey is my running mate. She will bring incredible experience and energy to the committee right out of the gate. She brings a fresh perspective on how we can improve what we do, notably in communication.

Aubrey Reichard-Eline

A Little About Me:

  • 20 year resident of Long Hill, life-long NJ resident

  • Happily married with 2 dynamic kids

  • 25+ year career in corporate fashion merchandising

  • Career pivot in 2020 to cancer research fundraising, community engagement, state level advocacy with focus on childhood cancer

  • Active community volunteer through children in Long Hill School system from PTO to softball snack shack to teaching yoga

  • Highly motivated childhood cancer advocate at state and federal level, including Chair of NJCCR Pediatric Cancer Research Committee, Rutgers Cancer Institute Patient Family Advisory Council amongst others

  • Drexel University Design & Merchandising Undergrad, Rutgers MPA (Spring 2025)

My Accomplishments and Goals:

  • Co-Founder of 501c3 childhood cancer foundation

  • Proven record in NJ and multiple other states of bipartisan work to develop and pass first of its kind childhood cancer research legislation

  • Goal to increase community engagement in Long Hill where all voices have a seat at the table through:

    • Creating a 'Mayor's Council' that includes voices from the community 

    • Easy and accessible newsletter

    • Accessible communication from committee to resident and back again

  • Increase the connection with the community and collaboration between local government and town residents to review new ideas, innovate and find solutions together 

  • Implement a youth leadership program so that this group can learn what it is to serve and that each individual can take action to impact change

  • To make Long Hill even better through beautifying areas, creating new community spaces, while maintaining the town's character

  • Keeping fiscally responsible to accomplish these goals through collaboration with individuals, groups, business, creative problem solving together, shared services and more

Why I’m Running:

  • I want to give back to the community and be a new voice and representation on Township Committee

  • My main focus is to enhance communication, connecting, listening, and collaboration. 

  • I believe that local government is the most powerful place to impact change for the community

  • I am running with Guy as he is consistently collaborative and bipartisan. He is a good listener and authentically wants to make things better for all the people in town. He works consistently to connect within our town and throughout the state, all with the goal of maximizing his service to Long Hill
